Lightslide

 

In Kooperation mit der Firma „LTS - Licht und Leuchten“ sollte ein Lichtwerkzeug entwickelt werden, welches die Raumbedürfnisse unterstützt und die Eigenschaften der LED hervorhebt.

Die lightslide ist eine Büroleuchte, die sich die extrem flache Bauweise der LED zu Nutze macht. Trotz ihrer Größe ist durch das geringe Gewicht eine asymetrische Aufhängung der Leuchte möglich, so dass sich die Leuchte von der Decke auf den Arbeitsplatz herab senkt, ohne beschwerend zu wirken. Das umlaufende, angeklippte Kunststoffprofil lässt sich an individuelle Raum- und Farbbedürfnisse anpassen. Durch die einfache Spann- und Aufhängungsvorrichtung lässt sich die Leuchte auch alleine montieren und waagerecht ausrichten.

The lightslide is an office lamp that makes use of the extremely flat design of the LED. Despite its size, its low weight allows asymmetrical suspension of the luminaire, lowering the luminaire from the ceiling to the workplace without appearing to be weighting. The surrounding, clipped plastic profile can be adapted to individual room and color needs. Thanks to the simple tensioning and suspension device, the luminaire can be mounted and aligned horizontally by only one person.
